I decided to have some fun and try a gradient effect with some glitter. I took out my favourite glitter polish, OPI's Bring on the Bling from last Winter's collection to create this look.
First, I applied a few coats a white polish (you can use any colour) I got from Forever 21 for $3 until it was opaque. I then started to create a gradient effect with my glitter polish. I applied more at the tips and applied less as I got closer to my cuticles.
Finally, I wanted to make it even funner but creating a zebra pattern on one of my fingers on my left hand with my Color Club thin brush polish in black.

This is my right hand, the one without the zebra. I think this could look good with any colour, especially if you are using gold or silver glitter.
This is a close up to a nail. I really love Bring on the Bling because it is beautiful gold glitter but when you look closely you'll notice that there is truly a rainbow in the bottle. I can see pink, blue, purple, orange, green, yellow, etc... It is the most beautiful glitter polish I have ever seen!
The polish with the zebra print. I love animal prints and zebra prints are especially easy to make on you nails. You can either use a regular black polish or, to make it even easier, use one of those thin brush polishes that cost about $3 at the drugstore. You can do so much with them. If you're into nail art, they will definitely be worth your while!
I got so many compliments about my nails from friends and strangers. My friend liked them so much she made me do hers. Instead of a white polish I used Essie's Borrowed & Blue from their new wedding collection. She also wanted the zebra print on all of her nails.
